“Foundry is popular for its lunch and dinner menu, live music and nightlife. It is situated along the bar strip on Red River Road between Cumberland Avenue and Court Street. Karaoke or live music. Venture up and down the streets' bright lights on foot to try out the other pubs, for live music, dancing, and after-hours hot dog stands. Many venues such as Crocs n Rolls or Black Pirate's club boasts well known bands, local talent, kareoke, and Open Mic nights for comedy or music.”

“The Marina Park i is iconic for its scenic views of the Sleeping Giant in the harbour of the largest freshwater lake in the world, and views of the local shipping port, which is a staple industry in Thunder Bay. The park includes waterfront walking paths, children's playgrounds, a water splash pad, waterfront restaurant (Byte). Sailing docks with stunning views of the sailboats heading out of the break walls to open water. Guided sailboat tours of the harbour during the summer months provide an interesting history of Thunder Bay. Fishing charters are also available during the summer. “Terry Fox was a young Canadian hero. He ran; with biological leg and one prosthetic leg across Canada to raise awareness and money for cancer research. This had never been done before and it brought this country together. The monument was erected in Thunder Bay as this is where his brave journey ended due to complications from cancer.”
