“Founded in 2014, it is located in the building of the city's largest sports venue, the Dinamo Arena, and utilizes a disused swimming pool as the main dancefloor. It is the largest techno club in Georgia and can accommodate around 1,200 people. Every Friday one of the best DJ-s come to this place from around the world and play there for the visitors of the place. The sound-system and atmosphere there is outstanding. ”

“The ride up Mtatsminda on the recently reconstructed Funicular is spectacular, as are the views from the top – and the Funicular Complex restaurant building has a couple of great places to eat or drink. It's also usually several degrees cooler up here than in the city below, which can be very welcome in the heat of summer.”

“Café Gallery is popular for its friendly atmosphere that helps people meet each other. In spite of its small capacity – main room contains little more than a dance floor with space for less than a two hundred people – it hosts credible house and techno act like Daniel Bell, Tama Sumo, Boo Williams, Lakuti etc. Launched in 2015, Didi Gallery (owned by the same people) offers credible house and techno acts – from Detroit’s Derrick May and Kenny Larkin to Berlin’s Ellen Allien.”

“This collection of traditional, mostly wooden houses, collected from all around Georgia, is spread over a wooded hillside with good views, and makes for an enjoyable visit. The most interesting exhibits are in the lower section (near the entrance), where the buildings are kitted out with traditional furnishings, rugs and utensils, and the attendants can often explain things in English. A Georgian lunch at Rachasubani is a nice idea while you're here.”

“In the late 50’s, it went back to being a restaurant and in 2012 the place was finally transformed into a space dedicated to electronic music and art in general. Nowadays “Mtkvarze” offers the best of underground house and disco in its main room, plus a more varied playlist, from experimental music to hip-hop, in its smaller second room. There’s also a balcony with a view of the river Mtkvari. The sound system is by Void Acoustics, and many consider it to be one of the best in the world. Since its foundation, the club has already hosted international and local artists, djs as well as vjs and won “The Best Venue” price at the Awards Ceremony for the innovative Pop culture Electronauts three times in a row.”

Theater
“незабываемое здание Театра марионеток Резо Габриадзе с покосившейся часовой башенкой, где каждый день в 12:00 и в 19:00 показывают маленькое представление и каждый час выходит ангел и бьёт в колокол. Fascinating and beautiful clock tower! The Gabriadze Marionette Theater is located in Shavteli Street in Tbilisi, which is also part of the Old City. Shavteli is another fascinating street worth exploring. There are cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops. One can also see the historic Sioni Cathedral while wandering through this street. At 12 pm every day, visitors and tourists are treated to a 'puppet show' which can viewed at the clock tower on 13 Shavteli Street. The show is a short one but worth waiting for. There is the theater cafe next to the clock tower where you can enjoy a drink and a snack while waiting. The puppet show is generally about the 'cycle of life' and it is fun to watch.”
