“Highly Recommended. About an hour drive, North on US 19. The Sponge Docks are always a great time, especially if you have family or friends visiting from out of the area, they will have a great time! There's a myriad of retailers and restaurants! If you aren't hungry, thirsty, or in the mood to walk or shop, you can still take in the beautiful and charming locale! Great way to kill a few hours, especially in the autumn and winter months!”

“This is one of my favorite places!!!! Great atmosphere at this quaint old Florida style cracker house made into a restaurant and bar. This establishment sits on the banks of the Anclote river where you can watch the beautiful Florida sunsets. Great entertainment on most nights. The menu is simple but the food is always great. Closed on Mondays. ”

Store
“We had a wonderful experience with kind and generous staff and crew. Very reasonably priced. Enjoyed the sponge factory film - it was very educational. The gentlemen running the boat were friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They did their best to make sure we saw the dolphins. Got us to the island and we were able to get great photos and found sponges and shells! Great day and great activity. Would definitely go again!”

“A bit of a drive to Tarpon Springs, but worth it if you like 80s style arcade games. One price to get a wrist band and play as much as you like.”
