“Hacienda is the best Mexican in Tahoe City in my opinion. Blue Agave is in the heart of town which is nice! Hacienda Del Lago has better views, and sits right next to Jake's in the Boatworks Mall!”

Bar
“Nice place to stop in Tahoe City if you are looking to grab a glass of wine in the evening. Good selection/mix of wines. A nice wine bar where you can comfortable sit and taste 3 wines for $10. Surprisingly the menu is not dominated by Californian wines. The staff is always friendly and informative. They have some snacks such as a cheese plate, olives, almonds. There's even a small number of beers for those who may prefer it. Also a good place to stop in and pick up a bottle or two to take home. There are some reasonably priced wines there. ”

Einkaufszentrum
“If you head to the Cobblestone Center, you will find a quaint movie theater right there, they usually show two movies at a time, and only a few different times, but if you see they are playing something you would like to see I recommend it, it is a cool theater that is a fun stop for families, couples, etc. They serve wine and beer here as well :)”

“A small course with a view of Lake Tahoe. This is a good course for a low-key game of golf. Set almost in downtown Tahoe city, prices are right, weather is perfect, and the staff is friendly and helpful. ”

“Tahoe City is one of the prettiest places you'll ever see, and not just in Lake Tahoe. Yea, we're biased, but it's simply true. From every vantage point, 360 degrees, it's beauty. And that even includes the town center with shops, restaurants and hotels. On summer days, the street is lined with flower baskets at giraffe-head height with color spilling out toward you. To one side you look and see the shimmering Lake Tahoe, to the other the mountains. Across the street you see shops, including an art gallery full of kind of mind-blowing photographs of the area's beauty. Across the street, there's an historic house, classic log cabin style. ”

“Only outlet from the Lake that feeds the Truckee river. Named after all the fannies that were visible to passers by when people stared at the blue-green waters. ”
