“This place is very unique and different! It definitely has a lot of local vibe and spirit. Being located out of the CBD, and tucked away in one of our Industrial areas in the Inner West. That is why it's truely a gem :) ”

“This chic restaurant-cum-bar has commanded the corner of Denham Street and Bondi Road for a couple of years now and shows no sign of losing its charm, friendly atmosphere and service. Freshen up with a Venetian Spritzer or a Bulldog gin and tonic and then settle into a bottle of the 2007 Luigi Bosca Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon from Mendoza Argentina.”

“North Bondi Fish - There are very few venues in Sydney that are truly beachfront, but North Bondi Fish is in as close in proximity to Bondi Beach as the grassy knoll. As you walk in there’s sand on the doorstep – this isn’t decorative, it’s just what happens when you’re 12 metres away from one of the world’s most popular shorelines. Given it’s prime NoBo position, this bright and breezy seafood palace has been the spot for many long lunches since it opened back in 2013.”

“Hotel Ravesis - There are four ways to drink at Hotel Ravesis – post-swim, downstairs with a cold schooner or cider; late night on a packed dancefloor with a vodka lime and soda or bubbles; on the side balcony with a crisp rosé (which they've got on tap here) that'll match the facade's pink paint job; or on the front balcony, perhaps exploring more of the wine list or diving into the fruit-heavy cocktail menu. ”

Griechisches Restaurant
“For some thoroughly modern Greek dining in an industrial chic interior. We highly recommend the Saganaki cheese, the Wild Weed and Cheese Pie, oh and the Loukoumades honey doughnuts for dessert… It is very popular and does not take reservations, so get here early (before 7pm) to get a table, or alternatively put your name down with the waiter, and head for a drink at Monopole or The Roosevelt just up the road and they’ll call you when a table is ready (usually a 45 min wait).”

“The Oaks is a Sydney institution, and a great example of the cities buzzing gastro pub scene. Grab a seat in the beer garden under the enormous Oak Tree or in winter inside by the fireplace. Located at the top of the hill, just a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk. ”

“If you don't want to queue outside this burger bar that's more popular than a pop-up puppy party catered by Messina, timing is everything. Get in early for any chance at a table, or wait until the dinner rush has worn off – well after 9pm, but there are still no guarantees. Territory is hard won here so barricade yourself in with baskets of fried chicken and bottles of natural wine (ask for the list from behind the bar) once you get a seat.”
