Tucked away on 2.5 acres in the middle of Duluth, this one-bedroom cottage has breath-taking panoramic views of Lake Superior, the Aerial Lift bridge and the St. Louis River. With the large property and surrounding trees, the home feels secluded but has wonderful access to hiking and biking trails, parks, beaches and all that downtown Duluth and Canal Park have to offer. License PL 17-099
This property includes two dwellings and guests are welcome to reserve both or just the main home. The main home is a single-level home with an open floor plan and everything you need for a fun and relaxing stay for up to four people. The bedroom has a full-size bed and the living room has a new, very comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom and a washer/dryer. The second dwelling is available as an add-on for groups larger than four or for groups who would simply like a bit more space or privacy. This second cabin is a cute little A-frame about 75 yards away from the main home. It has a double bed in the loft and a double futon down below. The loft is accessed via ladder and so it not suitable for small children or guests with limited mobility. The A-frame is fully wired with electricity and has a ceiling fan, coffee pot, fridge, etc but no running water, just a composting toilet and a 2.5 gallon water dispenser. Adding the A-frame to your booking is an extra $100 a night. Please inquire at the time of booking if you would like to reserve both spaces. Please note that if you choose to only book the main home, we will NOT allow another group to book the A-frame during your stay. Ben, the property owner, may be in the A-frame at times to work on projects when it isn’t occupied by guests. We will notify you in advance if we need to be on the property or in the A-frame.
The unique neighborhood provides complete privacy, tucked in a small wooded area above scenic Skyline Parkway. Enjoy the seclusion while being just a few blocks from downtown and Canal Park!

If you are interested in staying in the heart of the city, where the action takes place, the bell tower rings and ambulances zoom by, then this is a good option for you. The space includes: -A flight of stairs is the only way in to the condo -Large private front porch -Apple TV (Netflix, Hulu, etc. Don't forget your password!) -On street parking and an underground HEATED garage space -SPECTACULAR view The space does not include: -Air conditioning (does include fans) -Elevator -Cable TV This is the perfect place for a small family (2 adults and 2 or 3 kids) or a couple of couples or a handful of buddies. You get the point!
This condo is in a fantastic location. 4 blocks down the hill is downtown and Canal Park. Walk to Grandma's Marathon events, Tall Ships, Restaurants and Shopping. Whole Foods Co-op is 6 blocks away, there is green space across the street and you will be in the heart of a lively community.

Tourist homes, likes hotels, are considered essential services during the Covid-19 crisis. Through the next few weeks, we have added a 2-night buffer between each booking to allow additional measures of quarantine and sanitation to take place. We plan to continue to offer a cozy, clean location for guests in need of a place to stay in the Twin Ports. This American Craftsman style home is an eclectic mix of vintage antique, English garden cottage, & hunting retreat.
This classic Craftsman home is perfect for a group of six, spacious for two, and snug for 10. The main floor is TV free, we have numerous board and party games available for use. During the summer months yard games (Bean bags/Croquet) are available. The porch has a picnic table for covered outdoor eating as well as a sitting area. The shared patio has seating for 10 and a grill available for use. The African themed home has numerous animal mounts. See photos, there are 6 mounts and may be disconcerting for some guests.
The house is in a residential neighborhood. It is 6 blocks from Central Park which has a playground and disc golf course. The house is 8 blocks from Barker's Island which has a public beach, docks, mini-golf, and the Osage Trail. A grocery store, Super One, is located 5 mins away.

Come enjoy our vacation rental! All new in 2017. We're in a great neighborhood - close to Duluth's Spirit Mountain skiing & biking, the retail district, and lots of things to do and see! The apartment has a large living room, huge deck, full kitchen, full bath, and two separate bedrooms. This is the upper unit in the building. As such, this isn't an appropriate space for anyone with little kids that run around - as it would detract from the experience for the guests below.
This is a fantastic space in a safe neighborhood that is close to everything. Everything is renovated and in great condition in this apartment, vacation space. It is an upper unit (with stairs). As such, it's not handicapped accessible. If you'd like to rental both units in the building, the other can be found here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/7920809

Danke Debbie.

    David2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Großer Raum. Heimelige Berührungen. In der Nähe von See, Geschäften und Restaurants. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt.

    Mary2019-06-21T00:00:00Z

My place is within the City of Superior and close to Duluth Canal Park. You’ll love my place because of the location and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
The newly built apartment features a queen bed and two twin beds, a fully stocked kitchen with dining table, a large bathroom and laundry facilities as well as a small sofa, recliner chair and TV with wii. You are welcome to use anything you find in the kitchen, but please leave the kitchen as clean as you found it.
The neighborhood is all residential with a couple of parks within walking distance. Just a hop, skip and a jump from Duluth and only one mile from Barker’s Island, you’ll love my location in this quiet Superior neighborhood. Opportunities and attractions abound on both sides of the bridge regardless of the time of year. Spring/Summer/Fall activities include ATVing, exploring the Brule River and Lake Superior, hunting, boating, fishing, biking and hiking. You can find extensive trail systems in the Superior Municipal Forest, and the Superior Hiking Trail as well as Lester Park, Chester Park, Hartley Park and Hawk Ridge just across the bridge in Duluth. Wisconsin Point, along with Minnesota Point reportedly make up the largest freshwater sandbar in the world. There are 8 Lake Superior beaches within the city of Superior and 5 beaches located in rural areas. Summer brings a whole host of other activities including paddle boarding , golfing, the Alpine Coaster at Spirit Mnt., white water rafting, kayaking, charter fishing and rock climbing. There are ample opportunities for movies and music in the park throughout the summer in both Superior and Duluth. And if baseball is your thing, be sure to catch a Duluth Huskies baseball game at Wade Stadium in Duluth for some great family entertainment! Winter activities include local cross country ski trails, downhill skiing at Spirit Mountain and Mont du Lac, ice skating, snowmobiling, dog sledding, ice climbing and snow shoeing. You can catch a UMD Hockey game and the Bentleyville Tour of Lights in Canal Park. Explore one of many state parks during your stay in the northland. Pattinson State Park and Amicon Falls State Park in Wisconsin are a short drive away and Gooseberry Falls State Park and Split Rock Lighthouse are just up the north shore in Minnesota. Other local attractions include the North Shore Scenic Railroad, the Great Lakes Aquarium and the Vista Fleet Sight Seeing and Dining Cruises. The DECC is home to Broadway in Duluth, concerts, the Duluth Symphony Orchestra, Minnesota Ballet and the UMD men’s and women’s hockey games. If it’s museums you want, you won’t have to go far. The following is just a small sampling of the museums in the area. The Fairlawn Mansion, the Richard I Bong Veterans Historical Center and the SS Meteor are all within a mile of my place and just across the bridge in Lakeside Duluth you’ll find the beautiful Glensheen Historic Estate. When it comes to shopping and local cuisine, there’s much to choose from and you won’t be disappointed!

So sehr bequem! Wir haben uns mit Tammy wohl gefühlt.

    Annie2018-12-16T00:00:00Z

Terry Flats History: On January 4th, 1909 the property was conveyed by New York Realty Corp (Stratton) to Mary Jane Terry and Margaret Jenkins. Later, the property was conveyed from Margaret to Mary Jane and from Mary Jane to her husband Alfred Terry. Mr. and Mrs. Terry owned several buildings on the block that include 1602-04 Tower Ave, 1610-12 Tower Ave, 1600 Ogden Ave 1702 N 16th Street, two of which are no longer standing. In addition to the apartments they ran the Terry Piano Co. and a furniture store. Their daughter was a piano and vocal teacher in 1935 through sometime in the 40’s. After Alfred passed away in the late 1940’s the property was left to his daughter Mary Elizabeth (Terry) Kardon who sold the building in 1980. The building had fallen into serious disrepair by 2005, the renovation was extensive and took years to complete. Too often these buildings are beyond repair and are destroyed. This one was close to that... I am excited to share the results with you!

If you're looking for an enchanting getaway, getting lost in the twinkling lights of Duluth, or desire to look over the majestic lake Superior, this loft is for you. Walking distance from Chester park and a few local hiking spots. Close to other Duluth "must see's" such as Hawks ridge, downtown (5-7 min drive) , the port, and even Point Park. This centrally located BnB is perfect for any Duluth adventure you could want. Book today! (And is pet friendly-see below details)
What makes our space unique: This is a quaint 1920's home. The space has been updated but keeps its old home charm. There are unique points of furniture such as our lake superior driftwood coffee table, propagated (grown from a piece of an adult plant) succulents, and a variety of antiques. The biggest drawback of our space is the slanted ceilings. The middle tallest part of the ceiling is 6' 1". I do not want to discourage any of our taller humans from experiencing this cozy space, but would not feel right about not giving any notice! I wish I could make the ceilings higher-however- it has been described as "cozy, quaint, and comfortable". What you have in your Airbnb Loft: -water boiler -toaster oven -electric cooking pan -mini-fridge -6 gallons fresh water (Duluth water is the tastiest water ever!! no lie.) -plates/cups/utensils -bowl with dish soap and sponge (if desired to wash dishes in bnb) -double/full size bed -space heater -ironing board (in closet in living space) -iron (in closet in living space) -bath towels and washcloths -extra blankets (in the black cabinet-not pictured) -TV with built in DVD player (in closet in bedroom) -access to wifi -access to welcome book. You will have a key-locked door at the bottom of the stairs (for peace of mind if you desire to lock up your belongings while you are away) and your bedroom will have a separate lock to it (from the inside). Parking is readily available (usually), free, and on the street. (Will just need to park on same side of street as the other cars- since here in Duluth we have wonky parking rules for snow removal) What is shared: - "the worlds tiniest bathroom" - main kitchen (if you prefer to your private kitchenette) - main living space - dining room -main entrance This is a pet friendly Airbnb. If you are looking to bring your beloved furry friend please see below for pet guest house rules. Side note: We have two lovely pets that are not allowed into the Airbnb space. If you have allergies, the space is cleaned very well between guests and should not be an issue (if you are concerned about the space being hypoallergenic please contact the host to let us know what can make the space a better accommodation for you).
Beautiful residential neighborhood. Hilltop with view of lake superior. Chester park is a 10 minute walk and there are other local trails 5 minute walk from the house. Less than a mile from the College of Saint Scholastica main campus. 10 minute drive from downtown Duluth.
