“This picturesque waterfall and the surrounding tranquil rock pools and sub-tropical rainforest are mere minutes away from the beach and the quaint village of Buderim, yet feel wonderfully secluded. Visit this tranquil spot and you'll quickly understand why Buderim Falls is a paradise for nature lovers and photographers alike, and has fast become one of the most Instagrammed places on the Sunshine Coast. “Tickle Park: To access one of the most wonderful beachfront parks around all you have to do is walk across the road, cross at the traffic lights and turn left. In a few metres you are at the beautiful Tickle Park where you’ll find: Ocean view picnic shelters with clean free barbecue facilities (breakfast here is worth the effort) A wonderful kid’s playground Beach showers and public amenities A large open grass area - great for kicking a footy. Lots of natural shade and a stunning ‘magical’ fig tree that is adored by all the locals. $5 YOGA Classes. These great classes take place under the fig tree Sundays at 8am, Wednesdays at 9.30 and Thursdays at 6 am. The park has plenty of parking close by and is across the road from the shops which makes it a great place to gaze at the ocean while sipping the coffee you just purchased or relive your childhood with fish and chips by the sea. ”

“Walking on the wilder side of the botanic garden variety, Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens are set on 112 hectares brimming with natural bush, forest, creeks, and lagoons. There are a number of short walks for you to stroll along and spot possums, koalas, sugar gliders, water dragons, goannas, and an endless list of bird varieties. There’s also an interesting sculpture garden and a fully operational Arts and Ecology centre. Take a picnic rug (and maybe some mozzie repellent!) and enjoy the natural and peaceful setting. Sounds pretty cruisy, right? Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens is 2 min by car from Trove Studio”
