“A lovely walk along the Esplanade and the walkway along the front from our apartment. Mareel offers stunning views across Bressay Sound as you sit in the bar and 2 cinemas for rainy days! Mareel offers snacks and coffee/teas as well as cocktails/guest beers in the evening. It is a venue for our folk festival 2-5 May and many other festivals/live bands throughout the year.”

Bar
“Traditional music sessions on a Wednesday night, and often impromptu music at other times. The preferred Lerwick pub of most rural Shetlanders. Be aware that Lerwick is a 2 hour journey from Cullivoe, and the ferries stop at night; for a night out in town you need to be staying in town.”
