Best things to do in Seattle

“Make this park the starting point for walking along the waterfront (in either direction). Stunning views and kitschy waterfront activities (The Great Wheel, Ye Old Curiosity Shop). Fish and chips at Ivars is great for lunch (sit outside). For sit down touristy restaurant I recommend Anthony's Bell Street Diner. It's cheaper than the other tourist spots and more relaxed. ”

“For the last few years ArtsWest shows have consistently featured top-notch performances and challenging themes. This theater is a rising star in the Seattle scene and is often the "hotest ticket in town." Eg., the jaw dropping Octaroon in 2018.”

“If u wanna dance with live rap music you can but you can also be in a quieter room with seating & still hear the music & have a conversation! There's a small patio out front for some fresh air & the drinks are strong :). The bartenders are friendly & helpful & the door guy is a delight! There are arcade games in the front for some entertainment! The vibe is so chill & comfortable, no judgements. It's so much more spacious than the entrance makes it seem and there's never a line for the bathroom!”

“Maybe for an hour, longer if you're really interested in local Native American history, language and culture. Gift shop has lovely things. Cross the street walk through the park to the Duwamish River. Ish means River, so walk to the Duwam River River anyway. You might see Mt. Rainier across the river to the south on a clear day.”
