Grill-Imbiss
“If you are looking for action, this is the place. Santa Fe’s colorful local mix with tourists. The food it decent and there is a large menu so everyone can find something to eat. The nightlife is kooky, fun and occasionally a little wild. In the winter the band/ karaoke is squished against the wall in the bar. In warmer seasons the front patio hosts musicians, and it is quite the event. Reservations a good idea if the take them. Early or later you can probably walk in and get a table. Santa Fe Local hack: stay away from their frozen margaritas, order the “silver coin” on the rocks with salt. For the past 20 years every couple we know in this town has gotten arguementative after imbibing in the frozens. We blame it on the high sugar content & the cheap tequila.”

“The Plaza Cafe, Santa Fe’s oldest restaurant, has been serving highly acclaimed, authentic traditional dishes since 1905. In 1947, Dan Razatos, a Greek immigrant with an American dream, took over the Plaza Cafe and his family has been feeding Santa Fe ever since. Dan married a local girl named Beneranda and together they ran the Plaza and raised six children. As their children grew they all worked at the Plaza and helped to create what the restaurant is today.”

“Clafoutis is at the top of my list for brunch in Santa Fe. The French owners are always present to keep an eye on things and greet guests with a smile. All baked goods are made in house, and prices and portion sizes are reasonable. Expect a wait on weekends - this place is deservedly popular with locals and tourists alike.”
