A very popular place for strolling and enjoying the many attractions: Ferry Building, Farmer's Market, The Exploratorium, Wax Museum, Boudin Bakery Cafe, Rocket boat ride, Interesting Fact: Pier 39 marks the end of the Embarcadero and the beginning of Fisherman's Wharf. Blue & Gold Line (runs ferries to Sausalito, Oakland, Alameda, Vallejo & Larkspur), and the ferry for Alcatraz leaves from Pier 33. “Pier 39 is extremely touristy but kind of fun if you have never been. There are all sorts of shops and food spots that are selling San Francisco souvenirs, sourdough bread, ice cream etc. There is an arcade, street performers and the Aquarium By the Bay is small but pretty cool, especially for younger kids.”

“In our opinion, the Sunset is the best part of SF to explore by bike because it’s relatively flat! Our favorite place to rent bikes is Swell, a sweet little bike shop on Irving street. It’s $25 per day to rent. ”
