Kulinarische Tipps in San Francisco

Bäckerei

“Millennials love to stand in lines. Go mid-morning on weekdays to avoid long lines. But, the food is well worth it! Riches beyond your wildest dreams: butter-golden pains au chocolat, cappuccinos with ferns drawn in dense foam and croque monsieurs turbo-loaded with ham, two kinds of cheese and béchamel. Don't be dismayed by the inevitable line out the door – it moves fast – but be aware that lolling in Dolores Park is the only possible post-Tartine activity.”

“I like cozy bistros and Zazie is my favorite of many in San Francisco. It's four blocks away on Cole Street, a 10 minute walk at most. Zazie is extremely well known for its weekend brunches. If you decide to go for brunch be prepared for a very long wait (check their site for reservation policies). But if you get there when they open on a weekday, you'll probably get in quickly. It's pretty easy to get a table for dinner, especially if you go early. https://www.zaziesf.com”

“A San Francisco institution, this coffee joint does it a little differently - no espresso drinks, only pour-over, and they specialized in flavored drinks. Our personal fave is the Mocha Tesora. Take your coffee to-go and head to Noe Valley Park across the street.”
