“Go to Cowichan Bay for a beautiful stroll along the Government Wharf. Early morning (before they sell out of my favorite) or later in the evening as the sunsets are magnificent. This is a quaint seaside village looking across to Salt Spring Island. Don't miss True Grain Bakery for a morning coffee and flaky almond croissant, my personal favorite. True Grain makes all its breads from Canadian Grain, what a commitment. Bruce is truely a local buisinessman and craftsman worth supporting. Remember to bring a baguette or local pasta home for supper. ”
