“It has become oddly de rigueur to knock the city's doyen 24/7 poutinerie — and while the prices are slightly elevated perhaps due to the masses that flock there, it's still very good. Tourists, take note — your Montreal experience can be completed by grabbing fries and curds from many other places on this map instead of Banquise, too.”

“If you want to get out and shop, you will likely find anything you are looking for at or near the Rideau Centre in the Market. You'll find all the chain stores along with Hudson's Bay and Simons and Nordstrom Department stores. Nordstrom is one of my favourite stores...its a very civilized shopping experience and even a decent lunch at their rooftop restaurant. ”
