Kunstmuseum
“Even if you’ve never heard of Andy Warhol (a Pittsburgh native!) it’s really fun to see all of the exhibits. The building itself is a wonderful piece of architecture.”

Kunstmuseum
“Experimental art! Be aware there are three separate buildings; the main entrance is on Sampsonia Way by the cafe and gift shop. This place is not for everyone, and it may have inappropriate content for children depending on the exhibits, but it's awesome for art-lovers.”

Baseball Stadium
“Baseball games at PNC Park are so much fun! We used to go every year in high school as a group, and now my company takes us there in the summer. Sit near home plate for an incredible view of Pittsburgh! Did you know the first world series was played in Pittsburgh? Yeah, we're pretty great!”

“ Founded in 1895, the Carnegie Museums are a part of Andrew Carnegie's lasting gift to Pittsburgh. The Carnegie Museums complex is located in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh and encompasses the Carnegie Museum of Art, the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and the Hall of Sculpture and Architecture. Other connected buildings include the Carnegie Free Library and Pittsburgh's own Carnegie Music Hall.”

“You could spend an entire day wandering up and down The Strip and still not see everything. Come hungry! This is where the original Primanti Bro’s restaurant is (beloved in Pittsburgh) as well as lots of different markets, venues and retail stalls.”

“Phipps is a wonderful place to feel like you’re getting out of the city. It has rooms filled with beautiful plants and installations and smells amazing! If you visit from May-September you can catch real butterflies flying around. FYI...the walkways can be a bit narrow but it is wheelchair accessible.”

“One of the newer attractions on Northside. The casino offers slots, craps, poker & other table games, several restaurants & dinner theater.”

Restaurant
“Noodlehead is the kind of place you go to when you want to feel bougie but still don’t want to spend more than $10 on dinner. The rustic-meets-modern interior coupled with a Thai-fusion menu and no dish over $9 makes Noodlehead a winner in any book. Try the Chiang Mai Curry for a fun play on yellow curry, or stick with the tried-and-true Pad Thai for a phenomenal $9 dinner.”

Restaurant
“Takeout only. Nicky's is the only thai place on Northside, and boy is it good. I usually get pad thai (spice level starts at 1) or curry (spice level starts at 2 but it feels like a 3) and I always get an order of crab rangoons! ”

Sandwich-Laden
“If yinz don't go here, everyone you tell about your trip to Pittsburgh will ask you if you had a Primanti Bros sandwich and if you say no, they are going to wonder why they are even friends with you. Believe me when I say you shouldn't need to eat for the rest of the day, but it's just one of those things you gotta try once! Or you could not - and say you DID. I think this is the original location, but don't quote me on that. There are several others as well if you want to try squeezing it into your existing plans elsewhere.”

Café
“Hands down the best breakfast/brunch spot that I know of in Pittsburgh. Fresh ingredients, creative menu, great coffee, and afterwards you can stroll the rest of Butler street in Lawrenceville and find out what all the hype is about! *Not a greasy spoon so prices are a little above average than the famous Pamela's, DeLuca's, etc. Also, if you come back a hipster I can't take the blame for that.”
