“The architecture alone is worth the ten-minute walk: it's designed by Frank Gehry and is lovely to just walk around in. It's also a great way to see some of Canada and the world's greatest artists, and there's a kid-friendly space in the basement. Admission is free Wednesday 6-9pm, but it's otherwise still very affordable. There are also First Thursdays on the first Thursday of every month, where the AGO is open late and serves alcohol and food and there are lots of performances and activities.”

“This is a must if you like Science! The Science Centre also has an Imax Theatre. Initially opening in 1971, Cinesphere was created as the world’s first permanent IMAX theatre. IMAX is a proprietary large-format projection system developed in Ontario, and Cinesphere features a unique and immersive IMAX® theatre experience that allows for screening of films with IMAX’s laser digital and 70mm film technologies. Graeme Ferguson’s North of Superior was the first film commissioned for and screened at Cinesphere at its 1971 grand opening, and it helped put the IMAX format on the map.”

“Nicest and newest library in the city with striking design, to sit in and relax with a book or work. It's all glass allowing plenty of natural light in. While not too big it is also not too busy, and any spot you find will give you a nice view of the outside.”
