“Towering over Norwich, the castle has seen many changes in the city, but has remained a beautiful constant. You can definitely while away a few hours here, walking round the museum, into the stunning keep and down into the dungeons...if you dare! There is a cafe, and the parking is, well, right underneath it, in Castle mall shopping centre.”

Kirche
“A joy to walk around inside, and outside through the cloisters, and don’t be surprised if you end up walking out into the most beautiful little mews of cottages at the back! The cathedral was begun in 1096 and constructed out of flint and mortar and faced with a cream-coloured Caen limestone. An Anglo-Saxon settlement and two churches were demolished to make room for the buildings. The cathedral was completed in 1145 with the Norman tower still seen today topped with a wooden spire covered with lead. Several episodes of damage necessitated rebuilding of the east end and spire but since the final erection of the stone spire in 1480 there have been few fundamental alterations to the fabric.”

“Fielding Cottage Norfolk Holidays, is approximately twenty minutes away from the infamous Norfolk Broads. We would recommend Wroxham as the best place to hire a boat, but The Broads, has far more to offer, from historic buildings, culture, fishing, walking, nature … good food! ”
