Musik-Location
“ the venue that started it all. It was the Ryman -- “the Mother Church of Country Music” -- that first started attracting names like Hank Williams, Dolly Parton, and George Jones, securing Nashville’s status as the American center of country music. The Ryman remains a country music mecca, but as one of the city’s most dazzling concert-going experiences, has also hosted everyone from the Foo Fighters to Janelle Monae. Even if you don’t make it to a concert, it’s at least worth taking the time for a brief tour. Check their homepage for concerts and dates.”

“Mas Tacos always has a long line (get there early!), but it’s worth it. There are always tourists here, but lots of locals as well. We live 2 minutes away, and we eat here a LOT. NOTE: they do not accept credit cards (but they do have an ATM). They don’t add tax, and most items cost $3. This is not tex-mex, but more like Mexican street tacos. The tacos (all corn tortillas) are all good (my favorite is the spicy Cuban Carne Molida), and the tortilla soup (the soups are $5) and the elote (Mexican street corn- on the cob) are really yummy. Most folks order 3 items, and you can’t go wrong with anything here. Check out the drawing of Guy Fieri from when Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives came to Mas Tacos :)”
