“On the Mississippi river and Marshall St NE, with an awesome outdoor patio. For groups of up to 12, you may be able to call and get same day reservations here. Make an early reservation for the patio if possible (not in the winter of course...), and request to be seated on the edge. Start the night (or morning!!!) here with dinner (BLOODIES!!!!) and drinks on the river with your group! Walk or cab along Marshall St for any number of other unique local spots to enjoy beverages and bar fare. Lots of ways to enjoy this gem. It is pretty sweet.”

“A dive bar with free live music every night. Music varies: singer-songwriters, punk bands, bluegrass, and everything in between. A large patio with picnic tables allows an escape if the music is not for you. Cheap drinks & dark atmosphere. Can be loud. Can be greasy. But always a good time. ”

“For over a quarter of a century Brit's Pub has been Minneapolis's own little corner of the UK. The pub is known for nights by the fireplace in the winter and lawn bowling on the rooftop deck in the summer - with a whole lot in between including legendary TV football (soccer!) and rugby events. We are also proud to have a unique range of Private Event spaces, many with their own bar and fireplace. *downtown”

“One of my favorite places on earth! And it's right there close by. Try to go on a weeknight or a Sunday evening. Otherwise, go early if you go on a Saturday, it gets packed around 8pm. Try the grilled octopus--they slow-cook it with black garlic and it melts in your mouth more like a slow-roasted pork than a member of the squid family! They also have fabulous cocktails for only $10--a veritable steal around here these days for a non-dive bar! My other favorite dish is their daily oysters (they have both east and west coast options which change daily). On some nights they have local DJ's spinning retro albums! And the kitchen is open late.”

“Inexpensive and low key, this place serves beer and wine but doesn't feel like a bar. Local, national, and international gigs.”

“More expensive than many of the other distilleries. Really awesome, huge space and patio. Can't go wrong with a classic daiquiri. Just started selling charcuterie boards.”

Night Club
“A craft distillery in an out of the way place. Feels like a speakeasy where you need a secret knock to get in. Their designer cocktails are some of the prohibitively best in the cities.”

“Basement dance party! I have always really liked the music here, seems more thoughtful. Sometimes old school, and I am so you know...that's fun for me! I think you will know if this is for you or not.”

“The Retro Bar inside the Gay 90s is where I go to dance to Michael Jackson, Prince, Kesha, and Brittney. But tip the DJ well and he'll play anything you want. There's also a whole array of stripper poles to dance on - if that's your thing. :)”
