“Wynwood is a great area to stroll around, shop, visit the Wynwood Walls, and grab lunch during the day. The area also has the best nightlife in Miami. While South Beach is more dress to impress with roped off clubs, Wynwood is the nightlife of locals.”

“When you first show up at Bodega, you could easily mistake it for a popular neighborhood taqueria. Between the Airstream trailer serving tacos and the picnic tables, it looks like a low-key spot. It is that, but as you see the Ubers full of models and clubgoers arriving and disappearing into the small taco joint, you get a sense there might be something more going on. Look around for a guy with an earpiece at the back of the room and tell him your friend sent you, and you might just get directed to a back door that looks like an entrance to a Porta Potti. Pass through here and you’ll enter a graffiti-filled men’s washroom. It’s only after passing through yet another door that you will enter one of South Beach’s hot hidden nightclubs. The mixologists have an extensive menu that relies heavily on “illegal” mezcal, and the DJ keeps the room pumping all through the night. It caters to a friendly, slightly older crowd and makes for a good introduction to the South Beach scene minus the cover charge and lineups that you’ll find at clubs closer to the beach.”

“Zuma is one of the best-known fish and sushi restaurants of Miami. It has built a strong reputation due to the quality food they serve and the great service it provides. Sushi and Fish Tiraditos are the best dishes, but usually the servers can walk you through! Make sure to save some space for the Chocolate Hot Cake! This is probably one of the most expensive restaurants in the list.”

“The Miami institution has been the unofficial town hall for El Exilio since 1971. However, this Calle Ocho icon serves more than just cafecito. Its Cuban sandwich ($6.50), with classic fixings such as sweet ham and Swiss cheese, is a winner with the fast-casual crowd, and a traditional roast pork Cuban-style ($10.95) is a hearty meal served with rice and beans. But if you simply want to stop by the to-go window — AKA la ventanita — for croquetas, no one will judge you”

“Fans flock to this bakery/cafe's cool location with a minimalist vibe (and certified-kosher seal of approval) in Wynwood, home to Zak Stern's fabulous artisanal bread (sourdough is the favorite) and sandwiches; a funky staff and reasonably priced offerings make this a popular spot, so regulars suggest showing up early as many items sell out.”
