“From their website: " collaborative handmade boutique that operates on a micro rental space agreement. All items are handmade from local and regional artists, and artists have their own space to merchandise and sell their work! As a co-op model, members work together at the store, providing an intimate and innovative experience for shoppers." I love this place so much. Ask for Mary - she is the owner who often brings her newborn twins and precious pug Ethel into the store. ”

Café
“McQuixote Books & Coffee is one of the closest places to go for a GREAT cup of coffee. They do not have an extensive menu but is an excellent value and offer good locally sources sandwiches too. They also have a charming/well stocked used and first edition book shop attached to the coffee shop. Best way to get there is on a bike along the river walk and sidewalk off the river path at 16th st that leads you right to the front door of the coffee shop. ”

“Great spot to browse. They are loaded with old school dvds, video games, and books. On a day off, I love to grab a cup of coffee at Safai (across the street) and then browse this store. ”
