Parks und Natur in Los Angeles

Erstklassige Parks

Park
“Just two blocks from Hollywood Boulevard, Runyon Canyon Park is an often overlooked urban park that offers some great views. Atop the canyon, you can glimpse views of the San Fernando Valley and the Pacific Ocean, as well as the Hollywood Sign and Giffith Observatory. The park also boasts several hiking trails and is a popular spot for celebrities to exercise. Travelers say that the canyon is reminiscent of Old Hollywood with several old mansions and estates scattered throughout the park – keep your eyes peeled as you follow the trail. ”

“Fun place to take the family. Go to the museum and then have a picnic in the garden. Bring a blanket and listen to live music on the weeks! Jazz in the park is always my favorite. Look online to see the schedule and what events they have going on.”

“Pan Pacific Park is the largest park closest to A Fine Residence. It is approximately 3/4 of a mile or a 15 minute walk. This park is not fenced so dog owners will need to bring a leash. It is across the street from The Grove and the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust designed by Belzberg Architects. ”

Playground
“My kids love this park. They have to sections, one for toddlers and another one for older kids. I just wish the playground area was bigger with more fun for the kids. People are usually pretty nice. The park has a bathroom which is pretty clean most of the time. There is a pool here as well for the summer months. The park also has a section were people can work out which I thought it was pretty cool. Although, this is something that parents can't get advantage of it because is so far away from the playground area. The city also uses this park for several activities and festivals throughout the year. ”

“Short easy hike from parking lot up to natural caves that were famously used as a location for the original 1960s Batman TV show, among other film credits. You can get a view of the Hollywood sign from the caves or you can double back and take the longer more strenuous hike up toward the Hollywood sign if you are feeling more adventurous. ”
