Park
“Wonderful royal park with great rose garden, cricket pitch, tennis courts, deer, playground and Queen Victoria’s ancient oak tree that she used to play in. Overlooking the River Thames and home to one of London’s most iconic views, Greenwich Park is an amazing mix of 17th century landscape, stunning gardens and a rich history that dates back to Roman times. The park’s 183 acres has something for everyone. Stand on the Prime Meridian, the reference point for the rest of the world, and visit The Royal Observatory. Follow in the footsteps of England’s kings and queens with a walk through Greenwich’s ancient trees. Visit the tranquil flower, herb and orchard gardens then stop for tea at the Pavilion Café.”

Park
“The largest Royal Park in London (1,000 hectares/2,500 acres), and home to 650 deer. This pastoral landscape of hills and woodlands set amongst ancient trees, with plants, animals and butterflies, offers a peaceful respite to visitors. There are playgrounds at Kingston and Petersham gates, and two golf courses near Roehampton Gate. Educational facilities for those with special needs can be found at Holly Lodge Centre (by appointment). There is fishing available at Pen Ponds, plus horse-riding tracks and a cycling path. Public toilets with disabled access are located at most main gates. The Isabella Plantation is an organic woodland garden. For eating, choose from Pembroke Lodge, a Georgian mansion with spectacular views and garden seating, Roehampton Café or refreshment kiosks located at main car parks. ”

Pool
“The only open air 50 m 'Heated' swimming pool in London. GO early morning or during week days to avoid queues. Fabulous experience to be in water with the stars stretched out or with views to London sky. Occasionally you may even want to sunbathe on its paved surroundings, but is very loved by serious swimmers too.”
