“Experience the scenic, cascading waterfalls in the beautiful Litchfield Hills. Wander across the covered bridge, hike the falls 1/4 mile up along the stair pathway and feel the mist on your face as water rushes 250 feet down into a reflecting pool that joins with the Housatonic River. As you hike the easy, but steep, trail stop along the way to enjoy the many scenic views from three observation decks. A designated Trout Park, Kent Falls offers opportunities for fishing as well as picnicking.”

“Lovers Leap is a scenic area with Native American and colonial history! There is an easy 10-15 minute walk across a historic metal pedestrian bridge over a steep gorge and up a wide gravel path to a terrific rocky overlook with a view of Lake Lillinonah and the surrounding countryside. If you've only got time for a quick hike, this is the one to do!”

“Interesting abandoned theme park with great views of Waterbury. This place is really awesome. Definitely some eerie vibes whether you make the trip night or day but it's truly something to marvel at, there's a certain level of mystique about the place. There are no trespassing signs plastered on the gate. Nevertheless, a good free sight to see if you're in the area. It's truly a special place in Waterbury.”
