“www.florabama.com (5 minutes/3.8 miles East). One of the last great American roadhouses on the Alabama/Florida state line. Home of the Interstate Mullet Toss, International Songwriters’ Festival and the Gulf Coast’s greatest beach party. Four bandstands. Live music daily. Great burgers and oysters. A must see...rebuilt in the same tacky style before Hurricane Ivan destroyed it in 2004. Be sure to enjoy a delicious Bushwhacker! Check out their calendar of events.”

Museum
“Kids of all ages that love planes and aviation should visit the museum for a day. What began as one man’s vision to educate young aviators and endow them with a deeper appreciation of their heritage has evolved over the years into a steadily growing and expanding institution of national significance and of major economic importance to Pensacola. The Museum is now considered the leading tourist attraction between Orlando and New Orleans and one of the top ten attractions in Florida, making Pensacola an ever more popular destination for out-of-town visitors. Through dynamic exhibits, educational initiatives, publications and research, the Museum has far surpassed the concept that fostered it. The National Naval Aviation Museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., year-round, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s days.”

“Don't let the food pic fool you, Seville is Pensacola's most beloved nightlife venue. Just off of Palafox in our historic downtown you'll find Seville Quarter. Seville is home to several different bars and clubs (in one building!) including a room with pool tables, a piano bar, a live music venue, and an outdoor courtyard. Thursday is college night and the only night permitting 18+, any other night it's 21 and up. ”

The twenty-acre park features lush landscaping, a professionally trained aquatics staff, and is one of the most hospitable attractions in all of North Florida. Riders can challenge their own nerves or other riders. The Raging Rapids is over 300 feet of white water inner tube rafting. “The Rapids,” as they are affectionately known by so many guests, gives riders one of the best white water tubing slides you’ll find anywhere. The 50-foot splash down is a breath-taking finale. The Zoom Flume is the oldest attraction at Shipwreck Island. Three flumes curve in, out and around a huge hill, and finally come together in a big splash pool. The Great Shipwreck is a replica of a 17th century sailing ship. Guests zipline off the ship and drop into a beautiful lagoon pool. The Lazy River is over 2,000 feet of a slow moving meandering river that provides the park’s most relaxing aquatic encounter. Skull Island also features a fort with a gigantic tipping bucket that unloads 700 gallons of water on awaiting guests every three or four minutes.
