Park
“This is a lovely little park within a 15-20 min walk from the flat. Here you can relax and observe some of the Faroese bird life. The river which runs through the park is full of trout. This is a great place for a picnic or just a relaxing walk.”

Kirche
“This Lutheran church was built in the 1960's. It is a must see whilst in Klaksvik. Some of its most distinct features include a full size Faroese open fishing boat, as a tribute to Faroese fishermen. It also has an outstanding altarpiece, depicting the invitation to the great banquet. Finally we would recommend spending some time to take in the churches newest art work, made by local artist Edward Fuglø. The work presents the "Life of Christ" carved and painted on wooden panels.”

“røllkonufingur is a 313 m tall monolith on the south-east side of Sandavágur. Only 11 people are known to have reached the top of Trøllkonufingur. Legend has it, that Trøllkonufingur is the finger of a witch that came to throw the Faroe Islands to Iceland. When she came to the sea south of Vágar, the sun came up and she was turned into stone and fell into the ocean.”
