Park
“This park is an amazing loop for a 2.6 mile run or walk. Very flat, so good for roller skating or biking, too. A good leisure recommendation is that you find a shady spot under a tree and pack a picnic or watch the sunset. With views of the Denver skyline on the east side of the lake and views of the mountains on the west side of the lake, you can't go wrong. Enjoy!!”

Park
“10 min from us. A fun swim area, but even better are all of the trails that go in and out of the park. Perfect for an evening walk, but if you love biking, you can basically go anywhere in the city from here with all of the trails and access points. Lots of trail heads to avoid paying an entrance fee and enjoy some beautiful CO weather. ”

You'll enjoy a great selection from Denver's best food trucks and restaurants amid the park's 25,000 square feet of flower beds, with views of the State Capitol, library and art museum. ”

“Number one reason to go to Cook Park in the summer? A public pool. Counteract that 90+ heat with a cool dip. In the winter, you might prefer to workout inside or play soccer in the snow.”

“The South Platte Rivver greenway was the trail that started an urban waterway revolution turning deserted and trashed out urban rivers into parks with cycling, walking and recreational paths. The SPRT is part of Denver's extensive network of urban bicycle paths. If you are a cyclist, check it out.”
