“located on OSU campus. Showcases contemporary art in the gallery, artist talks, film screenings and an amazing cafe on the bottom floor. I recommend parking in the garage located off of High street to the left of the building. Will have to walk to get to the main entrance. ”

“Gallery Hop is a legendary Columbus tradition. Celebrating its 30th Anniversary in 2015, Gallery Hop is the first Saturday of every month in the Short North Arts District. On Gallery Hop Saturday, thousands of visitors converge on High Street in the Short North Arts District. Visitors celebrate art throughout the evening with new gallery exhibitions, street performers, special events, food, and drinks throughout the District on the first Saturday of each month. With dozens of galleries and non-traditional exhibit spaces, it’s Columbus’ favorite night of the month to celebrate art. Though many shops and galleries are open earlier, Gallery Hop officially starts at 4:00pm and runs to 10:00pm, ”

“Our incredible state history organization -- yes, it's a history museum; but OHC is also home to our state historic preservation office, state archaeological organization, our state local history field service alliance, our state archives, and so much more! Come to see a giant mammoth and stay for the 1950's Lustron House! (It's magnetic!) I've interned and worked at OHC, so happy to chat state & local history with anyone who is interested; and to give some insider tips as to what to check out at OHC!!! Don't miss this gem in an iconic brutalist building just two stops South on I-71!!! <333”
