Taco-Laden

“Big Star is a bourbon and beer-focused, taco-slinging, late-night honky-tonk in the heart of Chicago’s Wicker Park and Wrigleyville neighborhoods. Executive Chef Paul Kahan and Chef de Cuisine Chris Miller’s menu, inspired by authentic Mexican street food, is complemented by an extensive house-selected single barrel bourbon program. Housed in a defunct 1940's gas station, the Wicker Park taqueria’s soundtrack of classic country and rock & roll is selected and spun by bar staff. They operate on a first come, first serve basis and don't take reservations. The corner of North Ave. and Damen Ave. (1531 N. Damen Ave.).”

“Brunch time! What about some delicious biscuits? So buttery and decadent or maybe a slice of pie? Key lime pie definitely my favorite, Ben always disagrees but he is more a chocolate person. Everything is made from scratch, it can’t go wrong. Enjoy the outdoor seating during warm season, on colder weather expect a long waiting to be able to sit inside so be prepare or why not ask for to go?
