“Great trails for biking and hiking. At the 64th Street entrance to the park there is a boat landing and often there are paddleboard rentals available. It is also a fun place to go crabbing. All it takes to go crabbing is a pole with a net, a string and some chicken necks. ”

“Davis's Pub is a VERY casual place featured on "Diners, Dives, and Drive-Thrus". It has the best crab pretzel in town. It's quite small and serves mostly bar food but does a good job of it. It's in a neighborhood of Annapolis called Eastport which is across the Spa Creek bridge and worth a visit.”

“Settled comfortably around a deep, protected harbor rimmed with busy marinas, the area has become a major visitor destination in historic Southern Maryland. Visit nearby Gateways, stroll the Riverwalk, sail to a sandy beach for your own private picnic, or catch a Rockfish with a chartered fishing trip. Visit the Calvert Marine Museum and Drum Point Lighthouse and touch a live skate or ray at one of the museum’s aquariums and marvel at the massive 35-foot-long Megalodon Shark skeleton, reconstructed based on fossils discovered nearby. Then, visit the woodworking shop and witness the traditional craft of Chesapeake boat builders. ”

“A hidden gem. Should be a must for any traveler to the Chesapeake's western shore! http://www.annmariegarden.org/annmarie2/ A delightful art gallery and outdoors sculpture garden affiliated with the Smithsonian. The Fairy Trail is special fun for little ones, with the challenge of finding dozens and dozens of fairy houses hidden in the woods along the garden trail. They offer classes, events, programs, exhibits, and garden. Seasonal events include a farmers and makers market in the spring/summer/fall; Artsfest in September; a Halloween walk that supports the local food banks; a Christmas lights display. The gift shop has lovely, high quality items.”
