Best things to do in Charlottesville

“Just walk up and down, listen to the music, and choose a place to eat. I love eating outside in the warm weather, or to sit back and enjoy a beer and watch the folks go by. It is 8 blocks of restaurants and shops, with music venues and buskers along the way.”

“Spanish Tapas, great menu, amazing outdoor patio on pretty evenings. Great place to grab a pre-dinner drink and appetizers (the bacon-wrapped dates are to die for), or to settle in for dinner. Just around the corner from the house- two blocks/5 minute walk.”

“It has a great big sound-enhancing tent covering an intelligently designed seating area and lawn. You can watch the show standing right in front of the stage, sitting under the tent in a chair, or lounging on the lawn. I personally love to picnic on the lawn either by bringing in outside food (which is, amazingly, allowed!) or partaking in the food trucks inside the pavilion itself. The Pavillion brings in some great acts so make sure you check out their schedule.”

“This. This is the cornerstone of fine dining. If you only come to Charlottesville for just 24 hours. You must stop here and eat. Expensive but you don't always have to dress nicely. Genuinely a life-changing restaurant. ”
