“One of my favourite local cafe's! Fresh salads, sandwiches, hot breakfasts and brunch. Great selection of coffees too! Avoid 1pm as all the locals go there and it's very busy. Before or after that to get a table!”

“I take dogs walking here a few times a week. People who stay @40 are welcome to join me. Bookings in advance are essential.”

Restaurant
“Chinese hot pot; delicious, extremely generous, the friendliest service you could ask for. The Lucky Star doesn't look like much from the outside (or inside, if I'm honest), but it's a great place in the happening and ever so slightly seedy North Laine/London Road zone. Very good value - bring huge appetite and good company.”
