“The beaches here are gorgeous and you can walk to the quay and buy freshly caught fish or hire crabbing tackle to catch your own crabs over the sea wall! There are plenty of places to eat, my favourite being The Noisy Lobster which is on the beach front with views of the Isle of Wight. You can walk from here to Highcliffe where you can have teas in Highcliffe castle, set in lovely gardens and who host a variety of entertainment in the evenings.”

“Reef Encounter is a bar and grill restaurant with a laid-back relaxed ambience. The outside decked seating area offers views down to Bournemouth Bay, making it a perfect stop for that pint, glass of wine or coffee whilst soaking up the sun for instance. There's plenty of seating inside too to enjoy great food and soak up the atmosphere. Look out for their many tempting offers, such as the Wednesday steak night for two. http://www.reef-encounter.com/ ”
