“At the heart of Barbados lies one of its greatest wonders - the magnificent Harrison’s Cave. Located in the central uplands of the island, this crystallized, limestone cave is characterized by flowingstreams, deep pools of crystal clear water and towering columns. Gaze in wonder at the white flow stones and in awe at thebeauty of the speleothems which adorn the cave. Harrison’s Cave is a gem of an experience, so be sure to visit and unearth the adventure!”

“Breathtaking scenery, set in the grounds of the once regal Farley Hill house. A mansion in ruins, tucked away in a forest of mahogany trees, high up on a hill overlooking the rugged Atlantic coast, Farley Hill is an ideal spot to picnic, escape into nature, hide in the shade of a comforting tree and to simply stare out to sea. It is also a spot favoured by visitors for getting married!”

“We find that many visitors spend about 45 minutes in the garden. Others spend the whole day exploring all the paths. There are many benches and seats spread throughout the Forest, on and off the trails. You may walk or sit on the grass if that is your pleasure. If you stay on the main trail, you will see most of what the forest has to offer, but the alternative paths and cul-de-sacs all have little extras. Wheelchair users should follow the brown path of the map.”

“The Barbados Wildlife Reserve occupies four acres of mahogany forest with meandering brick paths. It is a community devoted to man's love and respect for nature, as well as to research and conservation. Come, and take a relaxing stroll through a natural habitat for many animals, including, of course, the green monkey. Most of the animals roam freely through the reserve, which is much much nicer way to see them than through bars like at a typical zoo. Note that a good time to see the animals is two o'clock, as this is their feeding time!”
