“Massif de l’Esterel, a coastal volcanic mountain range of red-ochre rocks, is one of the most stunning natural places of the Côte d’Azur. The Massif has lots of good walking trails and is also perfect for cycling and mountain biking. Along the coast road, you can visit small towns and resorts such as Agay, with its sheltered bay and a lovely beach, Le Trayas, and Mandelieu-la-Napoule with its harbor and 14th-century castle. Park

Beach
“Just outside Antibes, the sandy beaches of la Garoupe are filled with locals and tourists alike. It is not surprising: the sea is warm, beaches boast soft white sand, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. Note that until mid-October, most of the beaches are private, with a few free public ones. There is plenty of free parking in the streets around la Garoupe, however, it can get very busy in summer. Fun fact: taking selfies is not allowed at Garoupe Beach in order to encourage visitors to enjoy the moment. Driving distance from Cabris: 45 min ”

“Preferred spot on the long pebble beach lining the Promenade des Anglais for the views and the surroundings including a historic 'pop-up' beach restaurant with sun-lounge rentals during high season. Escaping the crowds to eg the beaches at Villefranche during that period is even better.”
