“Great hipster spot for coffee. Nice courtyard seating too. If you're in the mood for local craft beer (after 3pm), Sidetrack Brewery is right next door and shares the courtyard.”

“This quaint cafe is located in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Albuquerque. Around here you will find old farms, charming homes with lots of land, and a beautiful nature center that is perfect for walking:-). The cafe itself sells delicious desserts (I love the pies here) and the coffee is pretty good:-). And if you like bookstores, there’s an awesome bookstore right next to the cafe. I highly recommend this place to families and solo travelers alike:-). ”

“You wanna go to the place Obama visited when he came to Albuquerque in 2008? This is it! Try the huevos rancheros. This is a place that old time New Mexicans love and there’s a reason why it’s still a local favorite. ”

“Nothing fancy but it's the only grocery in this part of downtown. Great beer selection, less than great wine selection.”

Place to shop
“Open seasonally every Sunday 10 am - 2 pm (last day of the 2019 season is Oct 27). The Railyards market offers more handicrafts and less produce that the Downtown market, making it a sure spot to find souvenirs and gifts.”

“This place is right in the middle of Nob Hill (sometimes jokingly referred to as Snob Hill). Centered on old Route 66, this general area has lots of stores with a lot of character and culture. Tends to cater to people on the slightly higher end. But because it is so close to the university, it's also not entirely uncommon to see the trendy younger crowd here either. Gives a good sense of what Route 66 is all about.”

“Sandia peak is an aerial tramway. It stretches from the northeast edge of the city to the crestline of the Sandia Mountains. It has the world's third longest single span. It's the longest aerial tram in the United States. While you're there you can enjoy dinner and the very nice Sandiago's Grill. Don't forget to make reservations ahead of time. ”
