“3 courses at the low range of the prize spectrum. The food is amazing, but there is not a lot of seating in-house. There are two quite similar restaurants in the same street: Sct. Olufs and Oli Bistro ”

“Tropical Houses at the Botanical Garden The Tropical Houses (the Greenhouses in Danish "Væksthusene" in the Botanical Gardens) are a place where a numerous plant collections are presented in four different climate zones. An educational and sensuous experience You will have an educational and sensuous experience strolling through the beautiful and varied sceneries, and you will find plants from most parts of the world. Here, you get to witness what happens when the heat of the dense rainforest intertwines with lifelike animal sounds and the soft smells oozing from the many plants. Fascinating stories about nature and botany You can also hear fascinating stories about nature and botany and gain insight into the interdependence between us humans and nature. At the outside areas of the Botanical Gardens you can experience typical, Danish types of landscape, such as heath and beach, which is sure to inspire you to visit “the real” nature on the outskirts of Aarhus. Enjoy a delicious lunch in the café In the Botanical Gardens you will find the Tropical Houses Café, which is a breathing space in the heart of the city, where you can enjoy a light lunch or delicious cakes. ”

“Go for a stroll in Aarhus’ University Park and experience the unique campus atmosphere. The University Park is a nice place to enjoy a sunny day on the vast grass lawns with their shady trees, and you are surrounded by the iconic buildings and dorms of Aarhus University, and you will also find Aarhus Natural History Museum on the premises. The area is a lush, green oak park with a lake in the centre of the rolling moraine valley, where you will come across ducks and other wading birds. The University Park is a breathing space in the city for employees having their lunches, students studying for their exams, local children and visiting tourists.”

“Jægergårdsgade is a good street to go to for drinks and dinner. It's not a party street, but rather a cosy one with cute, small Danish buildings and various options for food and drinks. It's also a good place to go look for breakfast and brunch. ”

“This might be our favorite place – we come here a lot. They serve one simple, rustic and typically Danish dish every night for aprox. 85kr (which is cheap). Have it with a Thy Pilsner (beer) on the side. It’s very cosy and relaxed. Turns into a bar at night. They also serve breakfast. Vestergade 50.”
