We were very pleased with our stay in Sébastien's apartment. It was exactly as described, clean, was in a good location and easy to find. For 2 people it was the perfect size.
The bed was large and very comfortable and the thick windows do an excellent job keeping out noise so it's surprisingly quiet. The two balconies have charming views and add highly to the appeal of the apartment.
As a host Sébastien was very responsive and helpful should we have any questions or concerns. He also allowed us to check in 5 hours early which we really appreciated.
For the price this apartment is excellent value with great views! We loved our stay here, I would highly recommend it!
Sebastien's apartment was exactly as advertised. The views from both small terraces are quite nice, especially the one of Sacre Couer at night. The location was convenient (right next to a metro stop, close to bar and restaurants as well as a tourist information kiosk where you could purchase museum tickets, etc.)
Sebastien himself was a great host, leaving us plenty of information about the neighborhood and Paris at large.
The only issue for us was the stairs. To be completely fair, Sebastien told us prior to booking that the elevator would be out of order, and his place is on the sixth floor. He even carried one of our heavy bags up for us on arrival, which was going beyond the call of duty. But as 50-somethings, getting up those winding stairs after a long day of walking or sightseeing was a bit of a challenge. At least it kept us in shape.
Again, overall a great experience and I would highly recommend the apartment if you are okay with the stairs (or if the elevator is functional - it was being worked on while we were there.)

We had a nice stay at Sebastian's apartment during our honeymoon. It was a tad tricky to find the place as there is a St. ( as opposed to the Blvd.) with the same name and same address but we figured out our mistake pretty quickly and Sebastien's directions helped. We weren't able to meet our host but he left the keys and directions for us in an easy to find spot and after some detective work we were able to find our way around the building. The lift was broken during our stay, so we had to take the 6 flights of stairs each day but we thought of them as an excuse to eat more pastries.:)
The apartment was good and clean for the most part. We appreciated the extra clean towels and cooking items available for us. Wifi worked great. The washer/dryer washes very well but can only dry a couple of items at a time. ( Great to have one at all, though!) We very much enjoyed the front and back balconies throughout our stay and the view of the Sacre Coeur was beautiful and very romantic. The windows are nice and thick and keep out the street noise well.
The apartment's location makes getting around the city easy but it isn't the most populated corner at night, so we were just aware of our surroundings when coming home. Overall fine, though.
Lastly, Sebastien's recommendations for things to do around the city were great to have. We definitely got more of a locals experience staying here and that was wonderful!
Though we never had the fortune of meeting Sebastien personally, he was very responsive and everything was in order for the apartment upon our arrival. We had no problems communicating at all. The flat is adorable and the view is just as advertised. We found it quite cozy and it was a great home base for getting around Paris.
Some things to note - the flat is by a Hospital, so ambulances are a reality. Also, this is a working-class, real neighborhood - it has the appearance and expected foot traffic of one, but we did not feel unsafe. Also, the Velib is a great resource - just be sure to get bike(s) early as they run out quickly! Finally, we had fantastic wifi until apparently the cable came unplugged from behind the couch (which we never moved...), so if you lose wifi check behind the couch!
All in all, we would certainly stay here again and recommend to others!
