Fully Furnished PRIVATE bright, sunny lower-level apartment includes a large bedroom, private full bath, office area and kitchen(ette). Shared level includes living space, laundry room, garage parking (1 spot) and fenced backyard with BBQ grill & fire pit. (2 upper levels occupied by quiet mom and two teens). Your bedroom has an above-ground picture windows.

The Kitchenette includes utensils, plates, glasses, other eating necessities, a sink, shelving and storage, convection oven, mini-fridge, microwave, skillet/toaster, crock pot, coffee maker, etc. The kitchen does not include an oven bc of building codes regarding ventilation. I am looking into acquiring a full-sized refrigerator.

Desk area includes a desk and swivel chair. Fastest wifi in town FC Connexion.

Fort Collins is a “Happiness Bubble.” Building a house in Fort Collins and need housing in the meantime? Moving to Fort Collins but don’t know where you want to buy or rent? Working in Fort Collins and want a home-base instead of a hotel? Taking a semester or a year at CSU and don’t want typical student housing? Waiting for the housing market to be more sane for buyers?

Located in a quiet Norman Rockwell-like Neighborhood, Maple Hill is right off I-25, we're 4 miles outside of Old Town, 6 miles away from CSU, on the Northeast edge of town. We have open fields on one side and all the convenience of the city on the other, without the traffic. Large park, trails, pool (we hope it opens), quiet neighborhood. Well-trained, well-behaved Dogs Welcome. There are many ways to recreate outside on foot or on bikes from our door. I enjoy a local 5 mile walk around a nearby lake, or a simple stroll around the neighborhood has everything on offer from a Little Library to basketball hoops. We ride our bikes to Old Town.

We are following Airbnb Enhanced Cleaning Guidelines between tenants. Additionally, please know that we do not do short-terms stays, so every tenant has had at least a one-month quarantine. We then do a thorough cleaning which includes disinfecting every surface, washing and sterilizing every linen and towel and cleaning carpets.

A few notes & updates based on reviews and experiences:

STICKER SHOCK: just a head’s up that when you click through you’re going to see some surprising service fees. Please understand that I’ve removed every fee I can (such as cleaning fees). These fees are Airbnb’s attempt to stay afloat during international travel restrictions due to COVID. I have zero ability to eliminate them and I too am being charged additional service fees on my end. Keep this in mind as you are making your choices, ALL of the listings have these added fees, whether it’s my listing or someone else’s. Also I am renting only month to month to eliminate additional short-term rental taxes. A shorter rental would actually cost more than a monthly rental. So even if you need to stay only 3 weeks instead of 30 days it’s more affordable to book for the month. I’m doing everything I can to make this as affordable as possible for our guests.

There is now a portable air conditioner in the apartment, which can get very cold. We also have other fans. Very rarely does the heat become intolerable because of our cool nights. We do not have a central air conditioner installed in the home, it's not uncommon in Colorado because the weather is moderate and only very hot for a few random weeks.

When we find the right folks they often stay for far longer periods, under private arrangements. One year leases are common, many times renewed.

We rely on our guests' feedback to make upgrades and perform maintenance. Please let us know if there's an issue and we will quickly take care of it.
As soon as we were told about spiders we started spraying for spiders. When seeking a balance between being "natural" and being careful about toxic chemicals, I rely on guests for feedback.

This is a wonderful place to visit, many people visit Fort Collins and choose to never leave.

Quiet family neighborhood with a pool, nice walking and biking trails and an open space for dogs to run, a nearby park. Very, very safe! It's all the convenience of a fun city without the traffic or big city problems.

We love love love living in Fort Collins, Colorado. I love the dry air and moderate weather, the city, the nightlife, the people, the restaurants, the university vibe, the spiritual community and the outdoors opportunities. Renting our apartment has been a source of security and joy for my kids and I. We live upstairs and we love interacting with people (and their pets!). It feels like living in a duplex. Everyone gets a good amount of privacy and also a sense of community. It's nice.

We are happy to help you with whatever you need during your stay. There is a locking door which separates the apartment from the rest of the home. You come and go as you please. The interaction is similar to that of a duplex or apartment complex.

It's 100% possible to maintain 6' of social distance between us and tenants, should that be a concern.

However, we are friendly and happy to help advise or become friends.
