Six of us shared Leo's house while in SB for a training program. It's a quaint home in a perfect location! Leo was easy to work with and everything is exactly as it appears in the photos. I'd definitely stay there again if I'm with a group.
Leo's place was ideal for us - we had my family of four downstairs and my sister and her family upstairs and were accommodated very well. The place is homey and has a very European feel - beautifully remodeled, well equipped new appliances, and very comfortable. I got inspired by some of what Leo had done that will probably get us to do some updates on our own house!
The location is very convenient, walking distance to downtown Santa Barbara in a nice neighborhood. He even had a basketball hoop in the driveway, which was great for the boys (we never even turned the nice TV in the living room on.)
Soooo much better than a hotel. If you're a family with kids (or not) you can't go wrong with this place.
Leo's place was perfect. Lots of space, very close to State Street, walking distance to everything you could need. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you!
We had an amazing time at Leo and Daniela's home. It was very charming, had great amenities and was located very close go the great shops and restaurants on State Street. Leo and Daniela were extremely welcoming, friendly, and were great hosts. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks again!
Leo was a great host! Very friendly and willing to help us with anything we asked. The house was lovely with plenty of sleeping space. I would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful time in Santa Barbara. the home is cozy, with plenty of charm and has many modern amenities including a nice bathtub in the main bedroom and lighting that can be dimmed throughout the house. the home was clean and there was plenty of empty space for our things. Would stay again, no question. Our host was wonderful even letting us use his bikes and helping us install our child seat on one of his bikes temporarily!
The house was great, exactly as described. Would love to stay here again on a future visit to Santa Barbara!
We had a lovely two night stay at Leo and Daniela's place. The location was excellent for us with a toddler in tow with a great playground just a few blocks up the road. Also very close to State St. and all the restaurants and shopping that brings. We loved the open plan nature of the downstairs living area and the bath downstairs was a real treat. We would definitely recommend Leo and this house for a stay in Santa Barbara.
I totally enjoyed our stay at Leo's and hope to book next year when we return for our annual dance weekend event. Five of us had a very comfortable 3-night stay; the house had ample sleeping accommodations that worked especially well for our particular group (1 couple & 3 singles). (Further, I honestly believe that the the bed I had was one of the most comfortable I've been in.)
It couldn't have been a much more convenient location for us -- a walkable distance to our weekend event venue (near State Street and all the restaurants and shops).
Leo and his wife were very pleasant, helpful and quick to respond to any questions/needs; it was clear they wanted to ensure ours was a pleasant stay, as it was!
Leo was very welcoming, and the place was perfect. Easy to get around the town, walking distance and driving if need be. The new tub in the bedroom downstairs was pretty fun too.
