Weitere wichtige Hinweise
This house was first occupied in 1906 by George W. Fisher and his family. Fisher was the first Yard Master at the Enola Rail Yards, built by the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1905, and the largest freight yard in the world until 1956.

I use only dye-free and fragrance-free detergent and fabric softener to launder the bed and bath linens in order to better accommodate my more sensitive guests.

Standort

Enola, Pennsylvania, Vereinigte Staaten

If you like railroad history, you'll appreciate that the Enola Rail Yard was home to hundreds of railroaders, many of whom lived in this neighborhood. The distant sounds of the Norfolk Southern Rail Yard can still be heard when it's very quiet.

I love good food from all over the world, hiking, camping, kayaking, and driving forgotten country lanes. When I'm home, I like preparing and enjoying great food and wine, or an excellent cigar and scotch, or playing the piano. A note regarding communication: if you need to reach me by phone, please understand that I have a full-time job and am not able to take calls without prior planning. Texting is preferred, but if a phone call is necessary, please have the courtesy to text and ask for a call back, which I will make as soon as practicable.
