Cozy up in the living room by the wood pellet stove while gazing over the valley with unobstructed mountain views. Rental BBQ available! Bilingual hosts!
Die Unterkunft
This is a cozy cabin with two bedrooms and a roomy open-plan living, dining, kitchen room (LDK).
One bedroom has a full (double) sized bed. The other has one semi-double and one single bed. There is a sofa bed in the living room as well. Please let us know if you want to use it so we can provide bedding.
The kitchen is equipped with an IH stovetop and appliances such as a clothes washing machine, clothes dryer, toaster, microwave/convection oven, coffee maker and rice cooker. The main room also has a toasty wood-pellet stove. The living room has large windows looking out over snow covered rice fields. Mt. Madarao and Mt. Kosha are visible on clear days.
There is one washlet toilet with a heated seat and separate shower room.
There is also plenty of space in the mud room by the front door for coats, boots, skis, and snowboards.
The cabin is pet-friendly and can accommodate up to two small pets. (Sorry no large pets allowed)
May through October, camping chairs, table and sun shade tent are provided. You can bring your own BBQ or rent one from us: BBQ set including 6Kg charcoal, new grill nets, and firelighters ïż„2000. The garden is very large and you are welcome to bring your own tent and camp! (Please remember the max number of guests is still 5)
Nearby summer activities include kayaking at Hokuryuko Lake (car 15min) and hiking on the Shinetsu trail - access to the trail from Togari Ski Resort just 10mins on foot!

Togari Onsen is a great place to spend the winter season. The resort gets tons of fresh snowfall, the views are fantastic, and there are plenty of facilities to make your stay a great one. There are numerous restaurants and bars at the base of the resort (ten-minute walk) and a fantastic onsen hot spring complete with outside bath. Togari is not nearly as crowded as Hakuba or Nozawa Onsen, but much more convenient than Madarao or Myoko in my opinion. It is the best of both worlds!
The cabin is located just outside of the busy resort center. So you get most of the convenience of staying lift front, but without all of the noise and crowds. When you go back to the cabin, you can be assured that you will have peace and privacy.
