Die Unterkunft
Historic Berkeley Hall is number #35 on the Saint Michael's walking tour. "This house was built by Matthew and Elizabeth Spencer around 1840. The name was given to the house by Dr. John Miller, who resided here after 1847. It remained in the family until sold by his two maiden daughters in 1936. Dr. Miller, a physician, developed East Chew Avenue and Marengo Street before the area was included in the Town of St. Michaels. The house contains a mahagony staircase, original ornate plaster moldings, 'cross' doors, and a milk-glass chandelier in the large first-floor living room. The house was operated briefly as The St. Michaels Academy"

Zugang für Gäste
Berkeley Hall is side B of the house. It is all private and just yours. It has everything you need, There are 2 large bedrooms . One of the bedrooms has a loft that you can get to by a ladder, Fun for kids! The ceiling up there is not so high.. It does have a futon sofa bed that can sleep one.
The side porch is fun and has a fire pit. Feel free to use it. If you run out of propane just take the tank up the street to High and get another tank.
There are fireplaces in several rooms. However, the house is almost 200 years old and they are not working fire places. They are just for looks!
There is a large TV hidden in the cabinet in the living room. There is a chain with a button you push and the TV will rise out of the cabinet,
The driveway is on the left-hand side of the house. you will share the parking space area with side A. Want more space or have friends you want to stay right next door? Check out side A. Its called the Dr. Miller House .
