Beach 1.4 miles: closest beaches are Leadbetter Beach and Arroyo Burro / Hendry's Beach. Leadbetter is less than a half hour walk along a scenic drive.
Downtown State Street 1.2 miles, walk there via Ortega Street pedestrian bridge in less than 30 minutes.
This house includes three bedrooms:
1. Master Suite upstairs with two queen beds is almost 400 square feet and is the entire second floor, meaning no shared walls. With windows on three sides and mountain, city and garden views it feels like your own private tree house. Bathroom for this room features separate shower and tub with custom tiles. 2. The larger downstairs room has a queen bed, a single 'roll-away bed" and a separate private entry through the front yard. 3. The smaller downstairs bedroom has a double bed. Second and third bathrooms downstairs are in a historic part of the house and feature a full Jack and Jill bathroom with shower/tub between the two rooms.
The living room has a day bed with a single mattress. There is also a trundle bed under the day bed also with a thinner single sized mattress.
Extra childrens' beds are available to add upstairs or in the larger downstairs room: toddler mattress and two different kinds of cribs available.
There is an additional half bath downstairs decorated with custom star shaped tiles.
Important: this is a healthy, relaxing, comfortable place to stay and rest, and not a place to party. This home is not available for "parties". Our quiet hours begin at 9 PM, there is no grill, we have neighbors close-by sensitive to noise, and no more than a total of ten (10) people, including visitors throughout the weekend are included in a reservation for this home. Also, no more than a total of four (4) cars, no more than two of which can be larger than compact to mid-size, total throughout the weekend may come to the house as part of your reservation to minimize disturbance to our neighbors. We require the names of everyone on your reservation, their IDs at check in and the license plate number of each car. We are next door to this residence, so we are aware of visitors and quiet hours. The reservation only includes trash generation at a rate of one kitchen size bag of trash each day. The front yard cannot be decorated during your stay and we ask that you close all blinds at night time for privacy.

Utility bills will be your responsibility and must be in your name: Water, Trash/Sewer, Electricity and Gas. Clothes washer and gas clothes dryer, although present and functional upon tenancy start, are not gauranteed to be functional throughout the stay, guest has responsibility for maintaining them.
Please note, for fresh air for our tenants and guests, no smoking is permitted either inside or outside. Also, please only apply perfumes and colognes off-property for the comfort of our chemically sensitive guests and residents.
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed either.
ID required. For safety of our guests and residents, all guest's names must be stated in the inquiry (or within three days after the reservation) and ID for each guest will be required at check in.
Quiet hours begin at 9 PM.
Guests must check in by 8:30 PM (later check in is considered a "guest cancellation" of the reservation), so please arrive by 8:30 PM. Check out past 11 AM which is not pre-arranged can result in a deduction from your security deposit.
We prefer that outdoor shoes are not worn while relaxing here to keep place as clean as possible and avoid damage to the soft maple floors. Also, furniture without furniture pads is not to be placed on the maple floors to avoid floor damage (i.e. desk on rug and balcony chairs upstairs aren't suitable to place on bare floors). New scratches to the maple floors would likely result in a $300 deduction from the security deposit.
This home is not available for "parties". Any trash which does not fit in the city-issued light blue trash can must be hauled away with you. The front yard cannot be decorated during your stay (for example, no balloons or streamers) and we ask that you close all blinds at night-time for privacy. For every car or person above the maximum, $100 will be deducted from the security deposit.
All trash and personal items must be cleared from the house upon check out. The cleaning fee does not cover trash clearance or lost and found coordination.
All dishes must be washed, dried and put away in the cupboards upon check out. The cleaning fee does not cover dish handling.
Given experience, we expect that the $40 value new World Market white cotton table cloth in the living room will be stained during your stay. Please take it with you if it becomes stained and we will simply deduct the $40 from your deposit. If you wash it and it is not stained, or if you choose not to use the cloth, then the $40 will not be deducted.
Per AirBNB host gaurantee insurance policy, we inform you that we expect guests to treat the property and all items in the property with care and that guests are responsible for all Covered Losses regarding any damages or missing property.

The host was wonderful, neighborhood good and description pretty accurate. I think with 10 people it would have been a tight fit but was perfect for the 6 of us.
This listing met our expectations. The hosts who greeted us (Elizabeth and Anya) were very friendly. We loved the eco-friendly aspect of the house amenities. The upstairs master bedroom was a beautiful space as was the backyard. The wifi connection was solid and the location was central and convenient. Thank you for a lovely stay.
The host had a couple of back-ups to respond and address any questions we might have had which was very helpful. The house was spacious, clean and in a quite neighborhood. There was enough room to have 2 cars off the street which was convenient as well. Centrally located with easy access to the 101.

Great place, perfect for a quick getaway to Santa Barbara. Our hosts were extremely gracious and welcoming. I would definitely recomment this house for a girls' or family vacation.
The home was so nice, cute, spacious and very very lovely! It had nice big rooms, get bathrooms (great water pressure), nice open kitchen and get patios and a very cute relaxing balcony on the 2nd story bedroom.
It had all the amenities in the kitchen, including all dishes and silverware, appliances, cutting boards, mixing bowls, cooking utensils, coffee machine....very nice. The house came with plenty of towels, blankets, beds, etc. Even had a nice washer/dryer. The one thing it didn't have was a TV. But that didn't matter for us at all. We didn’t need one. It did however have WiFi and were able to get on the net with our laptop.
Had a great view and in a nice quaint neighborhood. Great for a weekend getaway. We really enjoyed it!!!! The owners of the home were also very friendly and great with communication. Definitely recommend it!!
