This incredibly unique self-contained annex which is set back just behind a row of houses located on Pevensey Bay Beach is just a two-minute walk to the waters edge from your front door.

It’s a great base for you and your friends or family to explore the local area and enjoy the fantastic local surf, swim in the sea, fish for your supper, cycle the amazing local routes, or walk the South Downs Way. You can check out some local walking routes at alltrails.com.
The annex has its own private entrance, step inside the front door into a well-equipped open plan lounge kitchen area comprising of two single sofa beds which comfortably sleeps two guests along with a 32 inch flat screen TV and foldable dining table and four chairs, a fully fitted kitchen with washer/dryer, electric oven and hob, under counter fridge, utensils, pots and pans. Walk through the lounge into the double bedroom with a king size bed along with plenty of wardrobe space and a door leading into the en-suite shower room.
2 Adult Bikes & 1 Child bike is available if we have 48 hours’ notice, please contact us to request these.
Remember to bring your own fishing rods to enjoy the local sea fishing opportunities.
A travel cot is kept in the wardrobe for self assembly if required.
We have a designated roof area on top of the Annex with a table and chairs for guests to make full use of up until about 10.30 pm. We ask that guests do not congregate directly outside of the Annex but use the space provided. There is also a clothes drying rack on the roof terrace and we ask that towels are not draped over the railing in front of the Annex as we like to keep our neighbourhood looking tidy and our neighbours happy.
When booking with us your stay will be protected by a deposit guarantee and public liability provided by our risk management partner, SUPERHOG. To benefit from this protection, you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself or you can also go via their website, superhog.com to start the verification.

A damage deposit of £200.00 is payable . For direct bookings with beachside holiday rentals, this amount will be held on your payment card on the day that you check out and returned to your card after a full inspection has been completed and within 14 days of departure.
Lost keys will be charged at £25.00 per set.

Pevensey Bay, England, Vereinigtes Königreich

To the west of 1066 country stands Pevensey Bay on the coast. Pevensey Bay is famously known as William of Normandy's landing place in 1066. Pevensey Bay is an old fishing village founded in the 1600's as Wallsend, the end of the sea wall from Eastbourne.
Pevensey village is located on a ridge of land, which juts out onto marshland and until the 13th Century the marshes were an inlet of the sea. Over time the large bay was gradually cut off from the sea by shingle and today the marshes known as Pevensey Levels, a large nature reserve, stretches for miles behind the shingle beach.
A number of Martello towers were erected along the bay at the beginning of the 19th century against Napoleonic attack.
In the early 1900's the village became a holiday resort it is today with much of the coastline development started in the 1930's. Today it is a popular tourist attraction with the nearby historical Pevensey Castle.
Pevensey Bay is well known today to all sailing enthusiasts. The local sailing club offers a variety of classes of boats and has a full programme of racing. The inspiring 31 mile 1066 Country Walk starts at Pevensey Castle, winds its way to Herstmonceux, through Battle and across the countryside to Rye.
