  • At first, the staff there seems had no record about my reservation, but I have no proof except the Airbnb app record. Anyway, I had a good stay here, most of the things are included with the cheap price. You can see and enjoy the Korean local spa culture here, very interesting.

  • My husband and I love staying at Jimjilbangs, but almost have a hard time sleeping on the floors and in the sometimes noisy open rooms. This place offered a private room, at a great price. You usually have to pay 10000 each to stay at a public sleeping Jimjilbang, so 10000 each extra was great.
We thought the bed, and room was clean and quiet.
The staff don't speak English, but there was an English liaison working when we arrived and when we left- so no harm done.
I recommend this place if you like public baths, and want to stay in a great location, with your own private room/bed.

  • Location is good, close to station and many eateries but there is a huge staircase to climb before reaching the spa so not recommended if you have heavy luggage. Remember to print out your reservation info for easier check-in. 4 floor up so more stairs to the room. Room is nothing like the pic shown but they are alright for the price. Spa itself is pretty run down but overall is a good experience. Wouldn't recommend for long term stay.

  • Was looking for a unique and affordable experience in Seoul. My Korean friend reassured me bathhouses such as Itaewon Land are common and considered a normal part of life in Korea so I gave this place a shot.

Stayed for 6 days. Room was more spacious than I anticipated, but definitely bare bones. Shared bathroom/shower as expected, took a little getting used to, but not so bad all in all. Good location, right on the central strip of Itaewon. Room got hot and had virtually no ventilation, so be conscious of this if you have a hard time sleeping in a muggy room. I didn't have too much of an issue getting a good nights sleep.

WiFi was a bit spotty but there was a Starbucks right across the street. Food on the 3rd floor was decent, but better can be found right outside the SPA. Gym was also decent, only machines, but sufficient for maintenance workouts. All in all for the price it was worth it for me!

  • Not a bad place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep. You need to know that you're staying in a Jimjilbang. The room smelled like cigarettes and so do the bathrooms. But for the price it's a good deal.

Lots happening in Itaewon, so it's not like you need to be the room all that much anyway.

  • For the price it was a good place to crash after the long flight. Simple accommodation and not fun to hang out in, but for a cheap room to yourself it's perfect. The women's spa is a bit run down like others said, but is still very enjoyable. The folks who work there don't speak much english and they do not give good directions but the whole place was clean and central to the Itaewon area. It is very easy to get to in fact, if you are at the Itaewon bus stop (coming from the airport) put the Hamilton hotel on your left side. Walk strait for about a block and a half until you get to a big flight of stairs on your right. Look up the stairs and it's there. And last, but best, the women's spa has hilarious phallic statues.

  • It's great to have shower and spa there. But it's too hot in the room. There is no airconditioner in room.

    August 2013
  • This is a bath house, where you can lay your head. What more can you ask for its a spa with a private room.

  • So so experience. Small room, which was ok and clean. The check in was with the staff of the spa, whose English is limited. No personal contact with the owner listed in the profile of Airbnb,

Location is central and good, Itaewon is the multicultural district of Seoul. So many kebab restaurants and other things.
For those who don't know what a Korean Spa is like: this is more like a public bathhouse. This means if you need to brush your teeth, go to the bathroom or take a shower you have to do this in the public area.

Price in unbeatable though, but I checked out earlier than planned as I really did not like the place.

  • clean room. no window, no aircon. spa little run down. people don't talk english, not that friendly. tiny room (pictures are highly photoshopped). 'downtown' location. i felt a little trapped in the room and dark corridor; it was nice to go to the spa though. if you're looking for a place to simply crash, this might do it. but then again, you might wanna consider simply sleeping in the spa itself for half the price.
