Marcella and Dr. Wolf Dietrich were excellent hosts and very interesting people. I particularly enjoyed their dogs and cat, I felt right at home.
The location is quiet and within walking distance to many enjoyable sights. I felt very safe walking in the evenings. Marcella was very good in regards to providing maps and suggestions of what to see a visit.
A nice bonus was the espresso machine available to me every morning!
That was a great stay! Hosts are wonderful people, very helpful and kind. I will warmly recommend this place to say in the heart of Vienna!
just this charming couple is worth a trip to vienna!
Great stay! we could choose any free room on our arrival. Dr. Wolf Dietrich was very friendly and helpful. The place is right at the centre of Vienna. Everything was perfect and I will recommend to stay here to all my friends.
Thank you very much!
love the romantic furnishings and close to city. air quality was a bit stuffy with dogs and heat of summer. and no WIFI is difficult for a traveller. it also wasn't entirely clear to me from add that this is actually a bed and breakfast rather than a home. for me it was not quite what i expected.
From the moment I arrived at the Home of the Mazakarini-Martinelli's, the Dr. and his wife, Marcella, did everything they could to ensure that I felt welcome and comfortable. As this was the first time that I had booked a room in an individual's home, their warmth and attention to my requests made me feel as thought I had entered a family member's home; unlike a sterile and impersonal hotel room, my room had a charming character, as well as being clean, comfortable, and unique. I loved my stay and wished that I could have stayed longer to enjoy their hospitality.
We feel so fortunate to have stayed at this location. Dr Wolf was a gentleman and his wife was a pleasure to meet. The room we stayed in looked like something out of an 18th century romance novel. We highly recommend them!!!
Was in town for a couple of days with a conference. My hosts were fantastic - having arrived late - they waited patiently for me to arrive and were extremely accommodating. Looking forward to a return visit.
