Cozy in-law studio apartment in the Inner Sunset. This ground floor unit faces back of building for great peace and quiet, and you have exclusive use of the wonderful backyard space. Apartment features a fully stocked kitchen, super comfortable full-size bed with down comforter, blazing fast WiFi, and hot water with amazing water pressure. This apartment is not lived in; it is used only as a vacation rental, which means there's plenty of room for you to make yourself at home (closet, drawer space, fridge, medicine cabinet, etc). This also means I can accommodate long-term renters (please email me for details). Toilet was repaired and subsequently replaced in August 2013, so if you've read reviews about the loud toilet, it's been fixed!
Unbeatable location just steps from hundreds of shops and restaurants (see map for Guidebook), 3 blocks to Golden Gate Park, the DeYoung Museum, Academy of Sciences, Stow Lake, Flower Conservatory, Botanical Gardens, etc. 1.5 blocks from N-Judah train (9th and Judah stop) which will take you west to the beach or east to downtown each in about 15 minutes. (phone number hidden) buses stop directly out front. Close to Haight-Ashbury, UCSF Parnassus hospital campus, and freeways. Free laundry and easy street parking!
Unlike many rentals, no upfront security deposit required. Linens, toiletries, and kitchen utensils are provided for your comfort and convenience. This is an entire studio for the price of a shared room! WOW! Host lives in the building if you need to borrow a cup of sugar or get a recommendation for awesome sushi in the neighborhood.

This apartment was exactly what we needed for a few days in SF. Right next to the bus stop and just 2 blocks from the train it was easy and convenient to get around town; it never took too long to get anywhere. The place is nice and cozy with a comfy bed. Cole told us everything we needed to know beforehand so we didn't have to meet and could come and go as we pleased. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to see SF but sleep away from the busy/noisy/touristy parts of the city.
Great stay! The place is very conveniently located. It is small (as most places in SF are), but it is very cozy and clean.
We stayed in this amazing sweet little cozy place for 5 nights. I could not have selected a better place than this! It is very space-efficient; has a closet with hangers and a drawer; has all the basic kitchen things you need; a totally hot pressure shower; comfortable clean bed sheets; crispy clean soft white towels; super speedy WI-FI-- seriously, the place has it ALL. The patio was right there in the back door so we could step outside for 2 seconds to see exactly how it felt outside so we could decide on what to wear for the day! The refrigerator is perfect sized-- good for left overs or if you need to make a quick trip down to the Whole Foods (20 min walk away). The location is AWESOME-- just few blocks away from N-Judah line where it can take you anywhere you need to go. Lots of awesome restaurants, coffee places, and the Golden Gate Park is just a stone throw away. Cole is awesome at communicating via text and e-mail. He also can make some great recommendations for anything in San Francisco. Need to know where to get awesome $1 oyster during a happy hour?? Can't make up your mind on which vegan restaurant to go to?? Just ask Cole! We got to meet briefly-- he's a very kind person. He is there if you need anything. We will def stay at the same place next time we're in town! Washer/dryer even also available if you need it. Just heads up-- there's no TV in the place...we were busy exploring the entire city and didn't even miss the TV! We were truly comfortable. The little place also comes with a heater-- so it takes a while to truly heat up the whole place. If you turn it on, leave the place, then come back few hours later- it's all warm and cozy. Such a lovely relaxing sweet little place it is. We'll definitely be back and I so highly recommend this place to friends who are en route to SF.
I enjoyed my stay at Cole's garden apartment in the Inner Sunset. The location is really convenient, blocks from Arizmendi Bakery, Ebisu Sushi, the Golden Gate Park, and the N Judah bus. The apartment itself is tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and a nice collection of books on the area, as well as San Francisco and architecture magazines. Cole was very helpful in responding right away to my questions. I'd definitely recommend this airbnb rental to others.
I stayed for 2 nights at Cole's place. I really liked the cosy studio (with very comfortable bed). The neighborhood was nice and felt safe. The bus stop was right in front of the door. It took some asking around to find my way into the city, but downloaded the Muni app, which helped. I haven't seen Cole, but for me that is not necessary. He responded quickly on emails and if needed, I could always call him.
Cole's apartment was perfect for our trip to San Fran. Clean, convenient and a great location. Would recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
We had a lovely stay in Cole's studio! The apartment was clean and nicely decorated, the bed was very comfortable, and the location excellent-- about two blocks from a wide variety of shops and restaurants, with easy access to downtown SF on the Muni.
Me girlfriend and I had a great time staying at Cole's place for the weekend! It is small yet very charming and has everything you need to enjoy yourself. Way more personable than a hotel, but that's why we all use Air BnB, right?
Cole's apartment is very cosy - nicely decorated and very compact! The bed is really comfortable. Others have mentioned the entrance through the garage, which is a bit off-putting (and dark at night). But it's a very good price and handy for the N-Judah to get downtown quickly.
Very charming and cosy place, nice area, close to everything.
The N judah takes you anywhere from the ocean to embarcadero district. Its very convenient.
The golden gate park is 5 blocks away, with japanese tea garden, bike rental, etc.
a lots of nice restaurants.
