Stunning 3-bedroomed modern, upper floor duplex apartment forming part of Grade A Listed Mansion House standing in 7 acres of woodland garden grounds and only a short walk to the village. The original Elie House was built in 1697, incorporating the remains of an earlier structure. The building became a convent in the 1970`s and has recently been converted into a number of luxury residences.

There is communal ground floor entrance with lift to apartment (4 flights of stairs). There are a few steps down from the lift the private duplex apartment.

Entering in to the apartment on ground floor and leading from the large hallway is the: -
Small Sitting Room ~ sofa bed (please provide own bedding & linen), large wardrobe & television ( only plays DVD's)
Master Bedroom ~ exposed stone walls & beams, kingsize bed, large wardrobe, electric coal effect fire. Door leading to en suite which has a bath with over shower, w/c & wash hand basing
Living Room ~ dining table (seating for 6), 2 comfy sofas, electric fire (coal effect), television with BT TV (80 Freeview channels, catchup TV, BT Sport), DVD player, Wifi router
Kitchen ~ fridge freezer, microwave, electric oven & hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer

Elie House lies on the east edge of Elie set in beautiful mature gardens. Originally built in 1697 for Sir William Anstruther, this saw a series of changes over the centuries. It was used as a convent during part of the 1900s before being placed on the market at the end of the century. It has since been restored and since 2006 has providing residential and self catering accommodation. A ten minute walk from the apartment will take you into the village where you will find the hub of the village Elie Deli for your lovely freshly baked croissants, deli meats, cheeses and takeaway snacks and soup. There is a pharmacy, gift shops, hardware shop, ice cream parlor, newsagents and bakers. Elie beach is a short walk from the main street the water sports centre is located down at the harbour and if you fancy a bite to eat there is The Ship Inn where you can choose to eat either inside or out on the patio area overlooking the beach and the Station Buffet up in the village.
Elie lies on to the East Fife coastal path so is a bit of a walkers paradise - walk west along to west sands, shell bay and lower largo or east to St monans, Pittenweem and Anstruther.
