This was my perfect Paris stay - the apartment is furnished extremely well, everything new and clean! furniture well chosen, a lot of windows and an amazing central position - THANKS THOMAS
Excellent apartment in an excellent location, we couldn't have asked for anything more for our recent stay in Paris.
It was everything as promised from the website and more and Helena who showed us in was lovely. The details in the flat we're appreciated with fresh bread and coffee facilities, and the place was very clean, the view out the window was great people watching as well.
You have to try the waffles downstairs, a different flavour every day. The shopping in the area was great, the food was perfect and it was easy to discover parts of Paris off the normal tourist trail as well as easy to access the main sights. Just hire a bike and cycle around or walk which we did mostly, you see more!
Highly recommend,if we come back to paris we will stay again.
A perfect bolthole in the centre of the Marais and a simply wonderful place to be based for shopping, eating, partying...
The apartment is beautifully furnished, fully equipped, very comfortable - pour a glass of wine, pull up a chair and watch Paris from the window!
Had a great stay at Thomas' apt! Thomas is friendly and responds promptly with questions. The apt is in a great location, modern, clean, and very comfortable. Was slightly worried about the noise from the downstairs bar mentioned in other reviews but couldn't hear a peep with the windows closed. Would for sure stay here again and recommend it highly to friends and family. Thanks Thomas!
Lovely flat in central Paris, great location - we walked to every site! Big comfortable bed. The room actually feels more spacious than the photos make out! Thomas gets back to you straight away, and his friend Helene sent us a list of some places to go/eat.
Also really great value for such a comfortable apartment in such a central location.
We absolutely loved the apartment! Great value for money. The bed is very comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. Rue des Archives is such a nice street with bars and nice shops in the neighbourhood. We’ll definitely return next time when visiting Paris!
Nice flat. Small but with everything you need. Great location and dealing with Thomas was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.
The apartment is fantastic. It is a good size, and beautifully decorated. The location is unbeatable. Thomas was extremely helpful and friendly at every step of the way, and his friend Helene introduced us to the flat and was extremely considerate and thoughtful. I cannot recommend them both highly enough.
One big caveat that may well not bother others, but that they should be aware of: as many other reviewers have said, the apartment is just over a very noisy bar. Like many others commented, the double-glazed windows are very effective at reducing most of the noise -- more than you would think possible. However, on weekends, the bar is simply so close that the sound of the bass reverberates through the building. I am a light sleeper, so luckily I had noise-cancelling headphones, a white noise generator, and a sleeping pill; I needed them before I could drop off to sleep. Many others mentioned the noise in their reviews, and nobody seems to have had a big problem. Ultimately we still had a great time - but if you are a light sleeper like me, you should think carefully about how easily you will be able get to sleep.
Apart from that, a great stay, and Thomas is a great host.
The other reviews don't lie. This is a great , albeit compact, apartment in a fabulous part of town. Helene was more than accommodating and helpful. You have a general grocer/wine shop literally downstairs that is open late ( you can grab a baguette et al)!
A department store (BHV) literally 1 minute away is a bonus but the shopping and sights all so close to this area are amazing! We walked easily to the Notre Dame and the the Louvre is walkable or a couple of Metro stops. You really couldn't stay in a better area and unless you are an incredibly light sleeper AND haven't been walking all day , I doubt the bar noise downstairs will bother you. It is nothing more than a low hum ( we were worried about New Years Eve noise but thankfully it was closed !). After all the sightseeing and shops, Thomas' apartment is a lovely place to come home to and relax with a glass of wine or coffee ( left by Thomas with juice, jam and bread!). Highly recommended.
Thomas' apartment was perfect for our 5 night stay in Paris. The apartment is exactly as you see it in the photos and made coming home from a long day of sightseeing very nice. Helen met us and gave us a detailed tour of the apartment leaving us with no questions. The apartment itself provided us with everything we needed - and small details went along way (adapters, iPhone Dock, towel warmer, bath robes etc) Thomas also provides a phone which calls any landline for free (including international numbers)
Conveniently located in the neighbor hood of Le Marais everything from shopping, attractions and restaurants were within walking distance. The closest train station, Hotel de Ville is literally down the road. Would defiantly recommend this apartment!
